Your dreams are important to you, but always chase them with a pinch of salt. When all else fails, you can always fall back on logic and reason. The important thing is to let it bother you life might be fast and leave a trail of destruction in its wake, but power through the bad times and you’ll always find the good times just around the corner. At some points you’ll be at bliss and everything will be going your way, other times will be an uphill struggle into the wind. The lesson here is to take life as it is. Hurricanes are fast and destructive while also being beautiful and wondrous life is pretty much the same. A better analogy is another quote from the Ducktales theme tune – “Life is like a hurricane”. People say life is short, but they’re wrong life is quite literally the longest thing you’ll ever do. Everyday you’ll be out there making Ducktales.

This is what you should take from this lesson adventures and achievements won’t just come to you, you have to get out there and make them happen yourself. Think back to anything you’ve wanted to achieve you didn’t sit back and wait for it, you went out there and earned it. It makes the whole “follow your dreams” thing a lot easier. It’s great when everything you’ve ever wanted just lands on your doorstep with no demands or requests. You have dreams, desires and goals just like everyone else. “Everyday they’re out there making Ducktales” Once you’re finished however, you’ll be left with a completely clean and organised household, something which wouldn’t have been achieved without making some mess first. Think of this rule like spring cleaning half way through a thorough clean your house will be a state with everything out of the drawers and cupboards and the ‘clean’ part won’t be self evident. Don’t become downtrodden when you’re not happy what you’ve made, because you can just pick out the flaws, brush it off and work towards making it better.

Whenever you begin a new project you’re literally starting from scratch you should always try to make it perfect first time around, but this very rarely happens. This applies to everything you ever have and ever will do in your life you’re never going to get anywhere if you don’t rustle some feathers, disturb the order and make some noise. Of course there is, and you’ll find them hidden in the theme tune you should be listening to right now. So what kind of life lessons can you learn from a children’s TV show theme tune? We all know that kid’s shows are meant to teach important moral lessons like “don’t steal” or “be honest”, but is there anything as adult-shaped children that we can still learn from lessons we took decades ago? It doesn’t really matter if you don’t know or remember it too well this is more about the theme song than the actual show.
